Larry Kudlow picked Sara Palin about a month before the announcement. Also, Bill Krystal of the weekly standard was pushing for her long before the selection.
I think it was a good selection. McCain would have lost by 10-12 points without her.

The Republican primaries were a gloves-off, no holds barred battle at times. John McCain and rival Mitt Romney seemed to hate each other. Now they have seemed to pull together for the sake of the party.
The question is: Who will McCain pick to be his VP? Some have said Huckabee (which doesn't seem to be panning out) others have posited Romney (which would probably be good for the economy) and many others have suggested Charlie Crist (which I can't figure out for the life of me...and I'm a Floridian who likes Crist...but he's a 2 yr Gov...).
Who makes the most sense for McCain to pick? Who do you think he will pick?
