Alright, this is an interesting one. On the one hand, this person (and many others) had such bad facial trauma that affected bone, muscle, skin, and eye, that clearly if there is a way to help her get on with her life in some semblance it should be tried.
My issue is more with the idea- where did this face come from? A cadaver I presume, but I'm sure they didn't have explicit permission to use the person's face. When a person gives themselves to science or donates their organs, it in no way shape or form is implied that someone else could potentially be walking around with your identity.
That is what a face is afterall, an identity.
I think if they are going to be doing these surgeries, they need explicit permission from donors to include the face....
