1. Join ThePrysm.com
- Private Profile. The more information you provide, the better
your content will be. You can change your profile and retest at any time. All of
the information on the five main category pages will be filtered specifically for you
based on the profile and test.
- ThePrysm Life Balance Test. This questionnaire
will assess your level of proficiency in the five categories of life balance and give
you an indication of your current level of life balance. Your test results are stored
in your account so that you may observe changes over time and review previous balance
assessments.
2. Graph Results and Balance Assessment
Upon completion of the Life
Balance Test you will be taken to your Life Balance Graph and your Life Balance
Assessment. This information will show and explain the strengths and opportunity
areas of your life. You can find this page in the “Balance” Tab of your “My Account”
navigation.
3. Your ThePrysm.com My Account Page and My Account Navigation
You can
access you’re My Account Page and Navigation from the box in the right hand side
of the header. This page is your dashboard to your activity on the site. From the
page you can access much of your tracking and activity on the site through the Tabs
at the top of the page.
4. Articles, Podcasts, Videos, Forums, Member Content, and
Featured Products
Once you login, every feature that you see on the ThePrysm.com
Main Category Pages will contain custom content especially picked for you based
on your ThePrysm.com Profile and ThePrysm.com Life Balance Test results.
5. Specific Category Recommendations
When you are logged in a new feature will appear on each
category page called “Recommendations” This feature will contain specific recommendations
to help you improve your results in that category.
6. Saving Content
When you are
logged in you will notice the little check boxes next to every content item on the
site become active. You can save any piece of content that you would like to view
in the future by clicking inside of the checkbox. To access your saved content,
simply click on the “Saved Content” tab on any main category page or "My Account"
page. You must be logged in to view this link.
7. Search ThePrysm.com
ThePrysm.com
features a search engine like no other. Whenever you do a search of our website
you only get relevant content to look through. That’s right. No business listings,
high school blogs, or off topic content shows up in our searches. You can even customize
your search by clicking on “Advanced Search” which will allow you to further hone
your results by category and content type.
8. Public Profile
Start developing a
presence on the site by creating your public profile. Simply fill out the information
you want others to know and upload a photo and you are ready to go. Creating a public
profile that others can read to learn about you enhances any articles you write and
forums you post in. Additionally, this is a crucial step toward participating in
the communities.
9. Submit Your Own Articles
You may write your own articles and
submit them on ThePrysm.com for others to read. All submitted articles are organized
by category and other members can rate and comment on them. If you’re article is
well-written and intriguing we may feature it on the home page or on the member
submitted content pages.
10. Goal Setting and Tracking
You can create and
track your goals in the five categories of life balance by clicking the “Goals and
Tools” link on the right side of the header or by going to your “My Account” page
and clicking the “Goals and Tools” tab. Start setting goals now to help bring your
life into balance.
11. Communities and Groups
ThePrysm.com’s community pages allows
you to create and join groups for the things that interest you and other like-minded
people. The communities feature blogging, forums, group calendar, classified ads,
photo and video galleries and sharing, group announcements, and a message center.
The administrator of a group has full rights over the permissions that can be granted
within the community.
12. Site Tools
ThePrysm.com offers you many unique and custom
tools such as calculators and tracking mechanisms that will help you manage the
different tasks in your life. We are constantly adding to our portfolio of tools
so be sure to check back frequently. You can find these controls on the "Tools and
Resources" tab on each main category page. When you begin using a tool, it will
appear in your account on your "Tools and Goals" page. Just click "My Account/Goals"
from any page to get there. They may also show up in your recommendations from time
to time.
